The Villa Tannenburg was built in 1908 on the beach promenade of Kaiserbad Ahlbeck. The villa is situated in an exceptionally beautiful location in the eastern part of Ahlbeck, away from the heavily frequented tourist area. What makes it particularly special is the synthesis of sea view, pine forest, and extraordinary Tudor style – the latter giving the villa the character of a castle. Since 1990, the villa has been operated as a hotel, most recently under the names Waldeck and Kastell. Starting from 2025, a conversion into 10 high-quality holiday apartments is planned. The apartments are particularly attractive due to their terraces, balconies, and rooftop terraces with direct views of the sea. All residential units are equipped with high-quality materials and internal wellness facilities. As part of the renovation, the villa is planned to be expanded with the addition of two penthouse apartments. The completion of Villa Tannenburg is scheduled for 2026.

Tudor-style on the Baltic Sea
The Villa Tannenburg features a very distinctive Tudor-style architecture, which is unique to the Baltic Sea region. Characteristic elements include the white battlements in combination with the pointed window openings. As part of the current renovation, the facade will be completely refurbished and restored to its historical appearance.

Quiet living in the first row
The Villa Tannenburg is located on the eastern outskirts of Ahlbeck in a very quiet location. However, the Ahlbeck pier and the town center with its shopping options and restaurants are only about 600m away. This location ensures maximum relaxation while still being close to the lively summer activities of the imperial baths.
Extraordinary architecture from the imperial era
Ahlbeck, along with Heringsdorf and Bansin, is part of the imperial baths on Usedom. Ahlbeck is the easternmost district and borders directly on the Polish town of Swinoujscie. Ahlbeck is characterized by its extraordinary architecture from the imperial era, with its exceptional villa development. Usedom is one of the sunniest regions in Germany.
