Baltic Hideaway Beach Hotel Heringsdorf

Usedom

The Baltic Hideaway Beach Hotel is a historic hotel complex located directly on the beach promenade of Heringsdorf. Currently, the complex is in a gutted state. The complex consists of three listed buildings: the Alte Villa, the Villa zum Strand, and a Remise. These are complemented by the main building of the complex, the new villa, and an underground parking garage. The complex is accessed through a charming courtyard. On the seaside, the hotel features a restaurant with a large outdoor terrace. The entire complex will undergo extensive renovation and be upgraded to a modern 5-star standard. After the renovation, the complex will offer around 50 suites ranging from 45 to 120 square meters. Many of the units have direct sea views. The redesign of the pool and wellness area, the hotel entrance and lobby, as well as the courtyard, are particularly emphasized. The monument-conserving renovation of the complex is planned to begin in 2025.

Facilities

The spacious suites are equipped to a high standard and in line with 5-star level expectations. The interior design is inspired by modern Parisian influences. Special attention is given to the fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms. All master bathrooms feature a sauna and a steam bath.

Features

Due to the heterogeneous structure of the buildings, a wide range of different suites is available. The suites in the Alte Villa are particularly noteworthy, with terraces and balconies directly facing the beach. The Villa zum Strand has a similar orientation and exudes the charm of a historic wooden house. The main building, which adjoins the Alte Villa, offers sea views on two sides: towards the beautiful Villa Oasis and its garden, as well as overlooking the hotel’s courtyard. In total, around 30 out of the 50 suites have a direct view of the sea.

Historical ensemble on the beach

The architectural structure of our hotel has evolved over time and includes three listed buildings. Starting with the Alte Villa from 1900 and a carriage house, the complex has been continuously developed over many decades. The listed “Villa zum Strand” and the main hotel building have created a charming courtyard with the hotel entrance. Due to the organic growth of the structure, the suites have individual layouts and are tailored to different needs.

Individuality with the highest standards

The Baltic Hideaway Suite Hotel is a privately owned suite hotel operating at a 5-star plus level, and it is not part of any hotel group. Our approach is to provide our guests with individual and personalized service. We consciously focus on a suite concept that limits the number of guests to 50 parties. Each suite is fully equipped and features a full kitchen as well as a master bathroom with a sauna and steam bath. Every guest has access to the hotel’s gastronomy and central wellness area but remains completely independent at the same time.

Residing like royalty

Heringsdorf is the largest of the three famous imperial spas on Usedom. It is characterized by its extraordinary architecture from the imperial era, with its exceptional villa development. The pier, at 508m, is the longest pier on the German Baltic coast. Usedom is one of the sunniest regions in Germany.
